Celebrating Eight Years!
The start of a new year always comes with a sense of new beginnings, fresh starts, and clean slates. It’s a time to look ahead with intention and purpose as we determine goals, set resolutions, or choose a word to focus on over the upcoming twelve months. It’s also a great opportunity to look back and take stock. Acknowledging where we’ve come from, and our progress up until this point, is crucial for us to continue moving forward with determination and hope.
As 2019 begins, we pause to celebrate eight years of ministry! Looking back, we are blown away at how God has so remarkably used our staff, volunteers, and partners to help individuals and families find lasting transformation. As we look back at all God has done, our hearts are stirred with the hope-filled potential of all that still lies ahead.
Some of the impact in the past 8 years of ministry together:
- Over 985 men and women have made the decision to become committed followers of Jesus Christ.
- 130 churches have been transformed through Biblical training, leadership development, & discipleship.
- 20,000 church members have been impacted through the equipping of pastors & church leaders.
- Dozens have found financial freedom for their families by launching sustainable microenterprises.
- 80% of Hope Africa Collective’s staff are local South Africans who have been mentored into leadership.
- 8,320 individuals have been impacted through holistic personal development & empowerment programs.
- Hundreds have secured employment to provide for their families through our job training & placement programs.
- 72,760 people have been impacted throughout our 8 years of working together to end poverty in South Africa.
